two-hundred-and-three: retreat

Retreat inward for rejuvenation and inspiration. Listen to your body. Listen to your heart. Trust in yourself. Take time to unwind.

one-hundred-and-ninety-two-three: celebrate

“When nobody else celebrates you, learn to celebrate yourself. When nobody else compliments you, then compliment yourself. Its not up to other people to keep you encouraged. its up to you. Encouragement should come from the inside.”

one-hundred-and-eighty: waste

“You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don’t know it, all of that doesn’t even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It’s not like you have forever, so don’t waste any of your seconds, don’t throw even one of your moments away.”

one-hundred-and-forty-six: self-view

“When someone tells you, “I love you,” and then you feel, “Oh, I must be worthy after all,” that’s an illusion. That’s not true. Or someone says, “I hate you,” and you think, “Oh, God, I knew it; I’m not very worthy,” that’s not true either. Neither one of these thoughts hold any intrinsic reality. They are an overlay. When someone says, “I love you,” he is telling you about himself, not you. When someone says, “I hate you,” she is telling you about herself, not you. World views are self views—literally.” – Adyashanti

So stop with self love deficit, don’t pin your worth to someone’s perception of yourself but your own.

one-hundred-and-forty-four: melt

Picture a person or pet you love greatly. Imagine they’re “giving you a look that melts your heart.” Think about the things you love most about them. With each breath you take, let your heart fill with love. – Barbara Ann Kipfer

At times think that person you love greatly is you. I remmber watching a video of a guy talking about when we ask what somebody loves there are so many answers their partner, pet, jewellery, book, event etc. but rarely the first thing that comes to mind is one self. In order to give love, we need to love ourselves, to be love in order to share the love in a positive, enriching manner. Start the self love revolution, beginning with yourself.
